Over the last 34 years we have changed to anticipate and meet the demands of an ever-changing marketing environment.

The company history is the evolution of creative thinking, talented individuals, and a work ethic based on making a difference.

We started as a reprographics company and managed print for companies like Merck Sharp & Dohme and Clinton Cards, we then extended our creative services offering in-house design and are proud to have designed the iconic Spice Girls Walkers Crisps Packs.

 

In 1996 the Sales Promotion side of the business was launched to compliment our in-house design and print management. Our promotions span over 20 years and include thermo-chromic chill reveal stickers for Jacob’s Creek, Doritos Chip & Dip Bowls, Pernod Ricard Cocktail Shakers, Bisto Gravy Jugs, Chivas Regal Poker Sets, Walkers on-pack promotions, HKScan Footie Boots on-pack, Premier Foods cross channel Footie promotion and so many more promotions that bring a smile to our face when ever we think about them.

 

As the world went digital we worked behind the scenes on Web design, build and coding. We can boast a number of sites and apps for a range of clients including AMX, Component Post, Merz Pharma, HKScan and HRJ Foreman Laws – not to mention our very own e-publication. With the recent advent of social media and other online communication channels, colourways now develops truly integrated solutions, bringing digital and off-line marketing together to deliver results. We have a unique approach to software development and coding, allowing us to be the best in this field and to deliver projects quickly and cost effectively.

 

We have always had an entrepreneurial spirit within the business and have helped start-ups on a number of occasions. We have also been involved in joint ventures and created brands of our own. The diversity of the digital arena has really impressed us and was the main influence behind our R&D department. Linking R&D with all our other skill sets has, and will continue to open up some fantastic opportunities. We love doing what we do whether its designing an FSDU for Tetley Tea bringing the Tea Folk to life or working with Red Bull to launch the Air Race simulator in Tesco, our clients see us as part of their marketing team and that’s what inspires us.

 

Just as the brands we work with have changed over the last 20 years so have we. It made us smile to see the evolution of our logo in parallel with one of the biggest influences in our industry, the Macintosh computer! We are proud of our colourways heritage and wanted to bring it back to life bringing all our skill sets together again.
